- March Sunsail, Vounaki, Greece.

- Mayday Bank holiday Richard went on the lads annual long weekend tour. This time we headed south taking in Italy - Milan, Venice, Trieste( Trieste Railway Museum), Slovenia (Ljubljana), Hungary (just) and Croatia - Zagreb.
- May Andrew took his first GCSE (Maths - managed an A). The rest being taken around May 2001.
- May Spent the late May Bank Holiday on the Norfolk Broads. The first time we had been on the Broads and the first time we had taken a sailing vessel (Cutlass) out on our own. The weather was appalling, we spent most of the weekend using the engine. Not a total success. We learnt early on that, unlike a narrowboat, you can't moor a yacht under overhanging trees! Camelot Craft were very friendly and can provide sailing tuition.
