- March Spent a watersports week in Marmaris, Turkey with Sunsail. Richard did a three day course to gain his RYA Level Dinghy Sailing award. Andrew had a great time with the teenagers club, David with the ‘Sea Urchins’ kids club. Wyn got hooked on Yacht sailing and loved the food.
 Mayday Bank Holiday Richard travelled by Eurostar to Paris then on to La Bourboulle in the Auvergne, France.- Witsun Andrew spent a week with the London Sailing Project on the 59’ yacht Helen Mary R. He sailed with 5 other teenagers and 2 adults from Southampton to Brixham and back.
- Witsun Wyn, Richard and David visited Crich Tramway Museum in Derbyshire. They then picked Andrew up at Southampton and took him to Torquay for the second half of his scout troop’s camp. Wyn, Richard and David stayed in Torquay for three days. On the way back they visited the Seaton Tramway.
- June Andrew travelled by coach to spend a week in Prague on a school exchange trip
- June Wyn spent two days at Aqua Sports achieving her RYA Level 1 Dinghy certificate.
- Jul/Aug Wyn, Richard, Andrew and David drove to France for a week’s cruising on the French Canal du Nivernais. with Blakes. Spent a night in Troyes on the way out and in Reims on the way back. Both worth a visit. Weather very hot and sunny. Plentiful supplies of wine, cheese and patisserie.
- July Steven spent a week at Youlbury near Oxford helping with the Cubs summer camp
- Jul/Aug Steven flew to Lisbon for the two week Venture Scouts summer expedition.
- August Andrew off to Marlow for the one week Sea Scouts’ summer camp.
- October Off to Sunsail again, this time to Vounaki on the Greek mainland. Even better than Marmaris, more space, lovely views.
